To effectively implement heatstroke prevention and cooling measures in hot weather, protect the physical and mental health of frontline construction personnel, and strengthen the safety production line of defense, Chen Xianqing, Chairman, Shen Mingang, Deputy General Manager, and Yan Huidong, Safety Director, visited construction sites of various ongoing projects from August 5 to 6, 2026, to carry out heat-relief condolences and a special work safety inspection.

The inspection covered the equipment and pipeline installation project of the 100,000-ton sewage treatment plant in Wukang High-tech Zone, Deqing; the air conditioning, steam and humidification pipeline installation project for WuXi AppTec in Suzhou; the thermal oil pipeline installation project for Best in Suzhou; and the civil engineering, steel structure and pipeline installation project for Jiangsu Dutong Technology.

During the intense heat, frontline employees braved the scorching weather and stuck to their posts to fully guarantee project progress. The company’s leaders expressed sincere gratitude to all construction staff for their hard work. They handed out heatstroke prevention supplies in person, carefully inquired about workloads, work-rest schedules and physical conditions, and repeatedly reminded everyone to take good care of themselves, balance work and rest, avoid operations during peak heat hours, stop work immediately for rest if feeling unwell, firmly refrain from working while sick or fatigued, and always prioritize personal safety and physical health. Meanwhile, the inspection team carried out hazard checks on key aspects including temporary power usage at the site, hot work operations, pipeline and steel structure construction, and closed rectification of identified problems on the spot.

Regarding high-temperature construction work for the next phase, Chairman Chen Xianqing made arrangements: All project departments must fully assume the primary safety responsibility, strictly implement management systems for high-temperature construction, earnestly conduct hazard investigation and rectification, continuously ensure heatstroke prevention support for frontline staff, and coordinate work on work safety, project quality and construction schedule to ensure safe and stable progress of all projects during the hot season.
