Phase II of the Anhui Volkswagen Project involves a total investment of about RMB 4 billion. Located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, the project occupies approximately 1,322 mu of land with a total construction area of roughly 678,200 square meters. Its designed maximum annual capacity is 350,000 new energy vehicles. The plant will function as Volkswagen Group’s electromobility and digital industrial base in China.

Our company undertakes the utility power piping works of the coating workshop. We implement safe and civilized construction. Various challenges emerged during construction. With joint efforts of the whole project team, we continuously overcame obstacles, resolved numerous difficulties, and strived to recover the construction schedule delayed by multiple issues.

During construction, Project Managers Gu Jihong and Zhu Jinbao, as well as Safety Manager Li Wenwei, implemented strict safety management at the construction site. The project won first place in the Anhui Volkswagen Coating Workshop Safety Production Ranking for December 2024. At 11:00 on January 9, 2025, representatives from the Volkswagen client, general contractor Dürr, and more than ten Dürr specialized subcontractors attended the award ceremony. Project Manager Zhu Jinbao and Safety Manager Li Wenwei went on stage to receive the award and commendation from Volkswagen leaders.

To meet the client’s schedule requirements, our project team plans to adopt a two-shift system and continue construction through the Spring Festival. We will cooperate closely with the general contractor to deliver the project with guaranteed quality and quantity, and strive to satisfy the client’s schedule targets.
